# Transfer

The basic transfer type is a simple transaction sending assets from the project treasury to a single wallet address. You can create a transfer proposal using either the Transfer template type or the Transfer option available on the Treasury page.

The asset menu allows you to select any asset held in the project treasury. An amount and target wallet address must also be specified.
