# Node Clawback

Another option available as an emergency measure is the ability to clawback assets from a node. This can be toggled off during node creation if desired. When a clawback is initiated, all assets from the node treasury are transferred to the parent treasury.

A clawback can only be initiated once a node is frozen.

To initiate a clawback, navigate to the node you wish to clawback from and select the settings cog from the node homepage. An option to initiate a clawback should appear as an option from a dropdown menu. Carrying through with the clawback transaction will immediately transfer assets from the node treasury to the parent.
